Hazing Policy
Kappa Xi Omega does not
in any shape form or fashion condone hazing in any form.
T
he Sorority defines hazing as "any action taken, created, or situated
which intentionally or recklessly subjects any person to the risk of bodily
harm, mental or physical discomfort, embarrassment, harassment, or ridicule; or
causing or encouraging any person to commit an act that would be a violation of
law or sorority guidelines; for the purpose of initiating, promoting, fostering,
or confirming any form of affiliation with the sorority.
Any chapter/colony/individual found guilty of hazing will
automatically loose its charter/membership privileges for a period no less than
one calendar year and be subject to a fine deemed fit by the National Judicial
Board , Risk Management Commission and Grand Chapter. The national chapter will
also assist any local law enforcement agencies in prosecution of members found
guilty of hazing. The severity of
the incident may also warrant all members charged in the incident be expelled
immediately.
